CENTRAL TRANSPORT^® RECEIVES ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION

WARREN, Michigan, June 27, 2003 — Central Transport International, Inc., announced today that its Corporate Office in Warren, MI has been awarded certification to the new ISO 9001:2000 standard. This certification confirms that Central Transport’s management, safety and operational processes meet the high standard of quality demanded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO 9001:2000 is the international quality system standard that was revised in the year 2000 to ensure registered companies provide increased value through applying documented continual improvement processes. The revised standard applies to all sectors, products, and organizations. ISO 9001:2000 has replaced the old series of standards published in 1994.

A spokesperson for the Quality Department for Central Transport said “Central Transport has implemented a number of quality-enhancement initiatives that focus on delivering ever-improving value to our customers. The focus of these ongoing improvements is to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of our Business Management System.
