CENTRAL TRANSPORT OPENS NEW LANES FROM QUEBEC TO THE NORTHEAST US, PROVIDING SEAMLESS DOOR-TO-DOOR COVERAGE
Warren, Michigan, April 17, 2012
- Central Transport, a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, today announced the introduction of new Canadian lanes.
“Central Transport has been crossing the Canadian border for more than 50 years,” says Chief Operating Officer, CJ Wysokinski. “With the recent expansion and optimization of these lanes, we’ve made it much more convenient for our customers to ship internationally. These new lanes will reduce transit times and provide more options for cross-border shippers.”
The lane enhancements are part of Central Transport’s ongoing commitment to provide excellent value and service to its customers.
In January, Central Transport optimized more lanes after it introduced its Daily Metro-to-Metro Pallet Program and continues to update the discounted lanes. The company also spent time optimizing and reconfiguring more than 4,300 lanes over the last year to increase service standards.
It’s just one more way Central Transport has proven to be simple, affordable and reliable.
